Google Authentication Information

SignupWhiz does not support traditional user accounts. When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive limited information from Google, which may include your name and email address.

This information is only stored if you create an event and is used solely to associate that event with its creator.

Event Information

  • Event titles, descriptions, dates, locations, and signup items
  • Event configuration and settings

Participant Information

When someone signs up for an event, we store the name entered for that signup slot. Participant information is visible to anyone with access to the event’s public link.

Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
  • Timestamps and basic server logs related to requests or errors

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticate event creators via Google OAuth
  • Create, display, and manage events and signups
  • Maintain platform security and prevent abuse
  • Troubleshoot errors and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations if required

We do not sell your personal information.

Public Event Information

Event details and participant names are visible to anyone with the event’s public link. This is essential to the core functionality of SignupWhiz.

  • Database & Storage Services: Event and signup data

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

Google authentication data is stored only while you have at least one active event. Event and participant data remains stored until the event is deleted.

When all events associated with a user are deleted, their authentication data is automatically removed from our database.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect information. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

  • View and manage your events at any time
  • Delete events, which removes all associated data
  • Stop using the service at any time

8. Cookies and Tracking

SignupWhiz uses cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

SignupWhiz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Data Processing

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.
